Mini garden at home

Never thought of that? It doesn't take much to grow some vegetables at home. You need to choose an area with good sun exposure, and it doesn't necessarily have to be on a balcony. Let's start simply and with some plants that need little care.

First, once you've chosen the ideal spot, get a pot and a bag of simple substrate, preferably organic, and fill the pot, leaving a small margin at the top to add a little organic matter. The aim of placing the organic matter in this format allows the material to be slowly absorbed by the plant.

You can buy organic matter in pellets, in the form of manure or through compost, which you may or may not produce at home. Nowadays there are kits available on the internet to make compost with your food waste, which doesn't produce any smell.

Anyway, on to planting and sowing.

The crops I would recommend planting or sowing, in a small space, at this stage of the year, would be coriander, beet, turnips, radishes, chard and spinach, all of which you can sow, and lettuce, parsley and rocket by planting (I think you can get these plants in any garden).
